In the manga:
- The antagonist empire goes pretty much the same but show a lot more resistance by quickly learn and counter whatever the sliver phoenix throw at, and their leadership is not as incompetent as the anime depicted.
- They spent sometime developed the queen, even tho she weak to the end, she still able to understand and become a good leader.

So far, there's 2 things i liked about the adaption, the obvious one were the fight scene and another were somewhat an interaction between the 2 big brain.

The Queen in this anime turns into a fucking lunatic fanatic. She goes from terrified to do anything to seeing the GIANT FUCKING MECHA DRAGON CAREERING TOWARDS HER IN A KAMIKAZE ATTACK and she's like 'Nope, not gonna move! No dodging either! I stand here and if I die then I die and so do the efforts hopes and dreams of EVERY SINGLE PERSON that contributed to our war effort and their leaders whom I've chosen to LITERALLY SURROUND myself with! Sure the deaths of all these integral leaders will eliminate ANY chance of our surviving citizens defending themselves from the vicious & rapacious advances of these invading armies but I am THE QUEEN and THE QUEEN doesn't move for fucking ANYTHING! Not even a like 500m to ensure that I alone will die in the Kamikaze attack and everyone else will survive. It's fucking all or nothing!'

The mistake comes from her father. Her only child supposed to be crown as the leader of his country after him, and yet, she isn't that trained for diplomacy and everything a queen is supposed to do. Weird.

Do royalty really works that way ? (plus having only 1 child, what if she died/get assassinated ? isn't that why kings go lot of kids with lots of wife and lot of mistress ? to have lot of choices if some happen to die)

The Funny thing about the Glasses Guys theory is that in Mobile Suit Gundam the Mobile Suits are created to combat large Battleships and due to their small frame and fast movements they are hard to hit making the Spaceships obsolete overnight

1. Banger Anime. Loved the story loved the development. Out of all this the MC is the only one that needs serious development. I hope to see a season 2 soon, it was dreams he fought for and I felt it.

Characters were great, some were annoying. (the girl twin and the princess. If they had ANY personality like being yandere then I'd be okay with it. Since they are fixated on a specific character as their entire personality the dev's could've had more fun with them but they became one dimensional instead.) Mechs are meh to me but this was easy to understand and follow. Would've been a good idea to have more exploration since 8 episodes were done in that same storage unit garage...(where was it?) Mana being used in mechs could've been explained a bit more since it seems everyone has their own mana capacity and control in this but it was simplified I guess. Do people with high capacity drive them longer or is it a set amount needing to be refueled like a car? The times Erny spent away from home felt forced so he wasn't in the same place every episode. The same 3 people stick around the MC and we couldn't get a real grasp on anyone's true character. The plot was great but lacked the impact of him realizing his creations falling in the wrong hands can destroy lives making him responsible. (It seemed nobody cared.) Demons got written out of the show during the war apparently. Extra points for going in a pretty unique direction since his interest in his hobby is technically a global level threat. 7.5/10
